Our mission is to live the Gospel and be God’s love with our neighbors in all places. To this end, we have participated in the following:
Early Response Team members travel to areas of disaster such as hurricanes, tornadoes, or floods to assist in cleanup and to be a presence of God in the disaster.
Volunteers in Mission are teams that help to rebuild homes and lives. Our local team has traveled to Louisiana, Tennessee, and areas near Endicott and Schoharie, N.Y.
Members have worked at Mission Central in Pennsylvania to prepare materials for distribution to areas in need within the United States and around the world. Our church has assembled cleaning kits, school kits and health kits which are brought to Mission Central for distribution.
The Trustees are entrusted with the oversight and care of church property - including the parsonage. It is our responsibility to oversee building usage and improvements to church property. We also maintain the insurance coverage on church property and make sure any Trust Funds are properly invested. It is our goal to have our property reflect our dedication to the furthering of God's work in our community so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective.
The purpose of this team is to extend our support to various organizations throughout the year and comfort to church family and community during their times of need. We support the following organizations: Ontario Food Pantry, Birthright, Come Unity Center, Open Door Mission, Operation Christmas Child, Star Tree Program – just to name a few. We lend support to our church family members/community through: sending cards, dish gardens, donations, visitation, meal preparation, food donations, school supply donations, clothing drives.
